DEAD BROKE!

The former INXS frontman leaves a paltry sum...

DEAD BROKE!

The late MICHAEL HUTCHENCE left just £22,000 in his will, it has emerged, a far cry from the £4 million his family believed he had salted away.

However, Hutchence's family and beneficiaries will see none of the money. While the former INXS frontman allocated half his wealth to daughter Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily with equal shares going to his mother, father, half-sister, brother, and lover Paula Yates, Hutchence, who died in November 1997, stipulated that the first Aus$1million (about £400,000) had to go to Greenpeace and Amnesty International.

Australian news site news.com.au reports that executors of the will now say all matters have been settled except for the sale of three guitars and oil paintings worth about £7,300 held in a bank safety deposit box.

Hutchence's mother Patricia Glassop did not believe the figure. "Would anyone seriously believe that Michael did not want to leave anything to his family, including Tiger?" she said. "He drove an Aston Martin, his personal effects were stored in homes around the world... yet we are supposed to believe he owned none of these things."
