THE LIFE OF HUTCH

The life of INXS singer Michael Hutchence is being made into a film starring 'LA Confidential' and 'Romper Stomper' star Russell Crowe, who fronts his own band called 30 Odd Foot Of Grunt.

The movie follows the history of the entire band from their early beginnings through to Hutchence's death in Sydney, Australia, in November 1997.

Meanwhile, internet site The Sleaze reports that the solo album Hutchence was working on before he died will be released in June this year.

INXS manager Martha Troup is reported as saying: "We have a new solo album for Michael coming out next year, and the new INXS album with new tracks, and maybe then we'll organize a tribute concert. But right now is not the time."

So who would play Paula Yates? Meg Ryan? Courtney Love? June Whitfield? Post a message on Angst!
