Guitarist Kirk Pengilly wants the film to be a "good and accurate reflection of INXS"....
The remaining members of INXS have said a forthcoming documentary on the band will help "give a bit of closure" to the legacy of late vocalist MICHAEL HUTCHENCE.
As previously reported on NME.COM, the remaining members of the band are in the process of putting together a film documentary, which will consist of archive material of the band and home movies.
Speaking to VH1, guitarist Kirk Pengilly said that he wants the film to be a "good and accurate reflection of INXS", as well as helping the remaining members of the band continue.
He commented: "It should give us a bit of closure. I'm very excited about the future of the band."
Since the death of Hutchence, who died in a Sydney hotel in 1997, the band have continued, and have used a number of guest vocalists, including Terence Trent D'Arby and Noiseworks' Jon Stevens.
