First iPhone-only album to be released by Kids On DSP - video
Band plus DJ Carl Craig team up with iPhone app RjDj for release - video
The world's first iPhone-only album has been released - by London dance act Kids On DSP.
The album, which is available to buy from the Apple iPhone store now, comes as part of the RjDj app. The app enables users to listen to 'reactive music' that changes every time you listen depending on outside influences such as the environment users are in, external noise and movements.
Users can also record into the iPhone's microphone and have their own sounds randomly implemented into the Kids On DSP app. The album features eight tracks – named 'scenes' – including collaborations with DJs Carl Craig and Acid Pauli.
