Iron Maiden top the UK Albums Chart (August 22) Get Tickets

Iron Maiden have hit Number One in the UK Albums Chart with their new album 'The Final Frontier'.

The veteran British heavy metal band went straight in at the top of the chart, ahead of other new entries by The Saturdays, at three with 'Headlines', The Hoosiers, at 10 with 'The Illusion Of Safety', and David Gray, at 18 with 'Foundling'.

Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan's new collaboration album 'Hawk' charted at 29, while Andy Burrows' I Am Arrows reached 38 with their debut album 'Sun Comes Up Again'.

In the Singles Chart, Roll Deep took the top spot with their new entry 'Green Light'Chase and Status' 'Let You Go', featuring Mali, is new at 11, while the only other new entries in the chart are 'Amazing' by INNA, at 14, and 'Say You Don't Want It' by One Night Only, at 23.
