Rhys Ifans' The Peth pay tribute to Isaac Hayes
Band say Hayes was 'uniquely original'
The Peth - the band featuring actor Rhys Ifans plus members of Super Furry Animals - have paid tribute to the late Isaac Hayes[/b[.
Writing on their [b]MySpace page, Myspace.com/thepethband, the collective wrote about their sadness at the news that Hayes had passed away after suffering from a stroke last weekend.
"The Peth are saddened to hear about the death of 'Black Moses' himself Mr Isaac Hayes," they wrote. "Another uniquely original artist has left us for the great stage in the sky or elsewhere!"
