Stars prepare for Ivor Novello Awards
Arctic Monkeys, Hot Chip and Amy Winehouse are all nominated
Arctic Monkeys, Madonna, Hot Chip and Amy Winehouse are all competing at the Ivor Novello Awards today (May 24).
The Sheffield four-piece are up for Best Song for their 2006 Number One hit 'When The Sun Goes Down'.
Amy Winehouse will also go head-to-head with Hot Chip in the Best Contemporary Song category with 'Rehab' and 'Over And Over'.
Meanwhile, Madonna's hit 'Sorry' and Scissor Sisters 'I Don't Feel Like Dancin' are also nominated for Most Performed Work and International Hit Of The Year.
The 52nd Ivor Novello Awards will be held at London's Grosvenor House Hotel later today.
