Jack Penate dives into the crowd at Leeds

Singer loses a shoe as he brings 'Everything Is New' to Bramham Park

Jack Penate stage-dived into the crowd at the Leeds Festival this evening (August 30) as he brought his second album 'Everything Is New' to Bramham Park.

The singer-songwriter ran off the NME/Radio 1 Stage and launched himself into the crowd during 'Let's All Die' before he eventually pulled himself out of the throng, with a shoe missing.

"I have lost one of my shoes," he told the audience, before joking: "I'll find you and get you. Actually, I think I'd better take the other one off."

Penate then went on to sing the remainder of his set, which featured seven songs from his recent album and four from his 2007 debut, barefooted.

The singer stepped up a gear towards the end of the set when he rolled through hit singles 'Tonight's Today' and 'Be The One', which he dedicated to a "wonderful girl".
