Charlie Boyer And The Voyeurs are set to play a one-off Jack Daniel's JD Roots Homecoming show at London's Shacklewell Arms, in support of NME and Jack Daniel's annual search for Britain's Best Small Venue in association with Jack Daniel's JD Roots.

The band, who release their debut album 'Clarietta' next week (May 20), will headline the east London venue on June 6 with support coming from Loom. Speaking to NME about the gig, Charlie Boyer says: "We played there in February last year supporting Toy so it's going to be really cool to go back. The Shacklewell Arms is one of my favourite small venues too, it's always good for watching bands."

added: "Without small venues, my band would be nowhere because we'd have no live experience…Being good live is important as that's where you learn the ropes. Small venues are completely essential."

Charlie Boyer and The Voyeurs' gig is part of a three gig run which will also see The Family Rain headline their hometown Bath's Moles on June 13 and Scunthorpe's The Ruen Brothers playing at The Priory Hotel on June 20.
