Jack White has revealed the video to ‘Would You Fight For My Love?’, a video reportedly “conceived and created” in just one day.
The video was shot by director Robert Hales and filmed at Denver’s Oxford Hotel. A press release from White’s label XL Recordings confirms that White and Hales created the idea for the video, which sees White drinking at a bar and interracting with the female vocalist, played by musician and photographer Scout Pare-Phillips, on the song, in 24 hours.
‘Would You Fight For My Love?’ is the latest single to be taken from White’s solo album ‘Lazaretto’. Earlier this year it was confirmed that the album is the biggest-selling vinyl album for 20 years in the US. Tracks previously lifted from the record include ‘High Ball Stepper’ and the album title track, ‘Lazaretto’.
Meanwhile, Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant said in an interview earlier this week that he would love to record with Jack White, even picking ‘Love Me’ by The Phantom as the song he would collaborate with him on at the Third Man Studios in Nashville.
