Earlier today (October 13), Third Man also announced their latest signing: Lillie Mae Rische. A member of White’s touring band, she is working on her forthcoming solo album for the label, which is also being produced by White.

Earlier this summer, White played his first vinyl record in space.

Last week, White released a series of White Stripes t-shirts entitled ‘Icky Trump’ after the band’s 2007 album through his store, in protest at Donald Trump using their song ‘Seven Nation Army’ in a promotional video.

Speaking in a statement issued through Third Man Records, the band said: “Regarding the use of ‘Seven Nation Army’ in a Donald Trump campaign video, The White Stripes would like to unequivocally state that they have nothing whatsoever to do with this video. They are disgusted by this association, and by the illegal use of their song.”

The back of the t-shirt also featured the following scathing lyrics from the song:

White Americans? What?
Nothing better to do?
Why don’t you kick yourself out?
You’re an immigrant, too?
Who’s using who?
What should we do?
Well, you can’t be a pimp
And a prostitute, too
