A reunion may be in the cards at an upcoming awards show next month.
BMI will honour the five brothers as BMI Icons at its eighth annual Urban Awards, which will be held at the Wilshire Theatre in Beverly Hills on September 4.
Previous honourees include James Brown, Little Richard, Chuck Berry, The Bee Gees, Willie Nelson and Carlos Santana.
The formed in 1966 and were the first group to have their first four singles hit Number One.
All the Jackson brothers except Michael Jackson have reportedly confirmed their attendance. An all-star tribute is planned for the event.
