Jake Bugg premieres 'Broken' video – watch
The single has been re-recorded with the help of super-producer Rick Rubin
Scroll down to watch the USA-set film for the latest track to be taken from his debut record 'Jake Bugg'. This version has been re-recorded with producer Rick Rubin in his Malibu studio. Rubin has recently worked with Kanye West and Jay-Z on their respective new albums. The new version includes a performance from drummer Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and string arrangements from David Campbell, who works with Metallica.
On working with Rick Rubin, Bugg said: "When I first met Rick I wasn’t aware of all he had done and how well renowned he was but I think that helped and so I just cracked on and recorded my tunes. The whole experience was inspiring. I learnt a lot from Rick. I also got the opportunity to work with some of the best players in the world which has made me become much better as well.”
Bugg is set to continue working with Rubin on his second album later this year. Before that, Bugg is set to play a string of festivals this summer including Glastonbury, T In The Park and Reading and Leeds. He will also tour the UK in the autumn, including three shows at Brixton Academy.
