Jake Bugg has revealed that his Glastonbury performance earlier today (June 28) was the biggest show of his career.

The Nottingham singer made his second Glastonbury appearance this afternoon, graduating to The Pyramid Stage having first appeared on the BBC Introducing stage in 2011. Bugg performed two new songs in his set alongside tracks from his debut album. Talking to NME before taking to the stage, Bugg said: "I always get apprehensive before shows. It’s one of the biggest shows I’ve ever played in my life, if not the biggest. I never know how it goes, it’s up to the people who come along and listen to the tunes."

Discussing the new tracks he is played in the set, Bugg said: "I'm playing a few new songs in the set today, one is more of an album track than a single. It’s called ‘All Your Reasons’. It’s more of vibe thing." Bugg also played new track 'Slumville Sunrise' in his Glastonbury set.

Arctic Monkeys will close the first day of Glastonbury 2013 tonight. Also set to perform today are Dizzee Rascal, Portishead, Haim and Tame Impala. Earlier this morning (11am) Beady Eye stepped up to the Other Stage for an unannounced appearance. The gig was announced on Wednesday by Liam Gallagher who tweeted: "11am Friday - BE there or BE square," referencing the title of new album 'BE'.
