Jake Bugg plays secret show at Reading Festival
Troubadour performs a six song acoustic set on the BBC Introducing stage
Billed as a special guest, BBC Radio 1 DJ Huw Stephens introduced the Nottingham-born troubadour to the stage at 2.40pm. Bugg played a six song set featuring tracks from his 2012 self-titled debut and its 2013 follow-up 'Shangri-La' ahead of his slot on the Main Stage before headliners Arctic Monkeys this evening.
Kicking off with 'Me And You' on acoustic guitar, he followed it up with 'There's A Beast And We All Feed It' before he got the crowd singing for 'Trouble Town'.

Bugg kept chat to a minimum throughout his short set as he veered into 'Strange Creatures' before ramping up proceedings with hit singles 'Slumville Sunrise' and 'Lightning Bolt', which saw the crowd singing along.

Bugg will later perform on the Main Stage at 8.05pm tonight. Further performances will come from Arctic Monkeys, Foster The People, The Hives, Imagine Dragons, Bombay Bicycle Club and Chvrches later today.
