James Blake has been announced for a special extra night at this year's The Big Chill festival.

For the first time ever, the festival is opening its main Deer Park Stage a day early, with a headline slot from the rising dubstep pioneer.

The Big Chill takes place at Eastnor Castle, Deer Park, Herefordshire from August 4-7.

Headlining are Kanye West, The Chemical Brothers and Rodrigo Y Gabriela, with Warpaint, Wild Beasts and Example also confirmed from across the weekend. Click here for the full line up for The Big Chill 2011.

The addition of Blake's name to the line-up completes a who's-who of the dubstep scene at this year's festival, as he joins names including Jamie Woon, Digital Mistykz, Jamie xx and DJ Distance.

James Blake is halfway through a short headline tour of the UK and plays Manchester Sankeys tonight (June 7) and Birmingham HMV Library tomorrow evening (8). Gigs at Brighton Komedia (13), London KOKO (14) and Cardiff Globe (16) will follow.
