Blake, who won the 2013 Mercury Prize in October for his second album 'Overgrown', was appearing for a second stint on BBC Radio 1's 'Residency' programme. He had guested on the show last month, when he debuted a remix of Beyonce's 'Drunk In Love' and his new song '40455'.

The musician unveiled his reworking of rapper Lamar's track last night under his remix alter-ego Harmonimix, as well as taking part in another spoof interview with Burial and remixing tracks by OutKast and Talking Heads. The full session is available at the BBC.

It was revealed earlier this year that James Blake and hip-hop star Chance The Rapper have moved into a home together in Los Angeles. The pair previously collaborated on a remix to Blake's song 'Life Around Here' in 2013.

Speaking to NME about what he hopes to gain from his time spent living with Blake, Chance stated: "I've never lived anywhere other than this house, the one I grew up in in Chicago. It will probably be like being on vacation for the first couple of months. Then I'll start figuring out what kind of music I'll be making."

He continued: "We're probably going to make a bunch of shit every day. I don't know what we're going to do with it. We might give some shit to other artists. We're getting a compound so we figure we might invite people round to the crib and make some music in the house, then kick them out and bring in some new people."
