James Brown burial place confirmed

Godfather Of Soul finally laid to rest

The children and partner of soul legend James Brown have finally agreed on a burial ground for the singer, nearly two months after his death.

The location of the burial site has been described as “confidential” by lawyers, but it is believed that the burial will take place in the “next few days”.

James Brown’s partner Tomi Rae Hynie had previously said that the singer wished to be finally laid to rest on his South Carolina estate, but due to a current legal dispute over control of the property, this plan had to be scrapped.

Despite disputes and rumblings between Tomi Rae Hynie and the soul star’s six children over the legality of the couple’s marriage vows in 2001, both parties have joined forces in an attempt to remove three trusties involved in handling the James Brown estate, due to claims of mismanagement.
