Jamie T bigs up View and Courteeners at T In The Park
Songsmith also plays new material to massive crowd
The singer played a ten-song set to a heaving King Tut's Wah Wah Tent at the Scottish festival.
"Who's looking forward to The Courteeners then? I am," he said. "They're up next. And then it's The View to look forward to."
He then played an acoustic version of early track 'Back In The Game', causing the crowd to cheer passionately.
Earlier in the set, new single 'Sticks And Stones' provided the audience with their first singalong of the evening. Their efforts clearly impressed Jamie T (real surname Treays), who motioned for them to "sing louder" part way through the track.
"Thank you for having us back at T," the singer said before playing one of his earliest songs, 'If You Got The Money'.
Of the three new tracks played at the gig, 'Earth Wind And Fire' went down best with the crowd, with many dancing along to the jilting chorus and breakdown mid-way through the song. "It's alright then is it?" Treays asked after finishing the track.
The Wimbledon-based singer mixed the rest of his set with new tracks such as '368' and more familiar songs like 'Salvador' and 'Calm Down Dearest', backed for the most part by his band The Pacemakers.
Final song 'Sheila' drew the biggest response from the audience, which stretched right to the back of the tent. The track saw much of the crowd singing along, even cheering when London was mentioned in the lyrics.
The famous "Stella" refrain saw many crowd members throw their beers into the air.
