Jamie T gave his second album a "last hurrah" as he headlined the John Peel Stage at Glastonbury tonight (June 26).

Playing to the packed tent, with many more fans forced to watch from outside, the troubadour effortlessly made the step up the bill having played below the headliners on the same stage last year.

Having previously admitted to not playing as many shows as he would have liked to support 'Kings & Queens' due to laryngitis, he made sure the night was a celebration.

"Thanks for showing up, I think Muse are playing," he told the crowd earnestly, before he launched into an acoustic version of 'Back In The Game', triggering a loud sing-along.

Backed by his band The Pacemakers for most of the set, Jamie T ensured that the John Peel Stage was a sweaty mass which danced along from start to finish.

"How's everyone doing?" he asked after the crowd bounced along to the likes of 'Sheila', '368' and a frenzied rendition of 'Dance Of The Young Professionals'.

Briefly leaving the stage after 'If You Got The Money', Jamie T was back for an encore, appointing one girl in the crowd the "party officer, who'll arrest any of you are looking sad or not having fun".

He then sent the audience wild for one last time with 'Chaka Demus' and a rowdy version of set closer 'Sticks N' Stones'.

"Thanks for having us," he told the crowd. "Have a great rest of the weekend, look after each other."

Jamie T played:

'The Man's Machine'
'So Lonely Was The Ballad'
'Earth Wind & Fire'
'Back In The Game'
'Emily's Heart'
'Dance Of The Young Professionals'
'British Intelligence'
'Spider's Web'
'If You Got The Money'
'Chaka Demus'
'Sticks N' Stones'
