Jamie xx has revealed he is working on songs for a new mixtape with collaborators including Four Tet.

The producer's xx bandmates will also appear, he told Japan Times ahead of his appearance at Fuji Rocks festival.

"I’m just making loads of music basically," he said. "Making it with some friends and with Oli and Romy, and eventually it’s probably going to go into some sort of mixtape but I don’t know when it’s going to come out. It’ll just be ready when it’s ready."

Asked if he could name any names, he replied: "I’ve started a track with Four Tet."

Jamie xx is among the names announced for this year's Warehouse Project in Manchester, alongside The Knife, Disclosure, Hot Chip, Chic, Flying Lotus, Four Tet, Diplo and more.

The 2013 season begins on September 27 and runs every weekend until January 1, 2014 at the Warehouse Project in Trafford Park Road. The full line up for the Warehouse Project 2013 is available here.
