The xx recently announced that they will release a limited-edition split 12-inch single later this month.

Just 750 copies of the split single will be released on October 28 and pre-orders are being taken now on the Young Turks website. The single will pair 'Without', a track from Sampha's recent 'Dual' EP, with 'Reconsider', a bonus track from The xx's 2012 album 'Coexist'.

In September, The xx revealed they have "just begun" their new album, the follow-up to last year's 'Coexist', and said they are "feeling inspired and ready to go". 'Coexist' recently won the Best 'Difficult' Second Album Prize at the AIM Independent Music Awards.
