A new track by The xx's Jamie xx has surfaced online.

The song, reports Pretty Much Amazing, was originally included on a recent mix made by Spanish producer Pional for FACT, and was listed as being by an unknown artist. However, fans have identified the track as one performed by the producer and member of The xx during his band's Night + Day festivals, which were held over the summer. Scroll down to listen to the untitled piece of music, which is just over six minutes long.

Meanwhile, Jamie xx will appear on BBC 6Music as part of the station's Friday 6 Mix series, hosting his own show on December 6, from 10pm-midnight.

In September, The xx revealed they had "just begun" their new album, the follow-up to last year's 'Coexist', and said they are "feeling inspired and ready to go". 'Coexist' recently won the Best 'Difficult' Second Album Prize at the AIM Independent Music Awards.
