JAY KAY CHARGES DROPPED

There's just the matter now of a few criminal records...

JAMIROQUAI's JAY KAY is to have criminal charges against him formally dropped.

The singer faced common assault and criminal damage charges stemming from a fracas outside a nightclub in April. The Crown Prosecution Service has now asked for the case to be dropped because of insufficient evidence against the chart-topping funkster.

Kay had plead not guilty to smashing camera equipment worth £250 belonging to photographer Dennis Gill, and assaultingGill outside Attica nightclub in London.
