Jane's Addiction have posted new studio footage of them performing with TV On The Radio's Dave Sitek.

The four minute clip entitled 'End To The Lies' comes as Perry Farrell's group announced plans to release their forthcoming album 'The Greatest Escape Artist' in August.

Watch footage of the band in the studio below.

Sitek helped write the band's new album, their first in eight years, as well as playing bass on it.

"We wanted to add a sense of ancient ritual and some depth beyond normal instrumentation, getting off the typical path that rock bands use, etc," Farrell said of the new record.

The band are due to play this year's Reading & Leeds Festivals on August 26-28.
