Janet Jackson readies new album for February release
And she's planning to hit the road for a world tour
Janet Jacksons new album is slated to be released in February, and a world tour is in the works, it was reported today.
The album is the follow-up to 2006’s '20 Y.O.', which referred to Jackson’s 20 year-old career in the music business.
The album is being produced by Def Jam boss LA Reid, while Jackson’s long-term boyfriend uber-producer Jermaine Dupri works on new material with Mariah Carey, reports Billboard.
Jackson recently starred as a psychiatrist in the hit movie 'Why Did I Get Married?'.
