Janet Jackson was taken to hospital yesterday (September 29) after she was taken ill during a soundcheck in Montreal.
The singer had been scheduled to play a gig at the Bell Center in the Canadian city, but the show was cancelled after she fell ill.
The star's publicists say she "got suddenly ill" during the soundcheck, but have not revealed further details or the specific hospital Jackson is being treated in.
The concert is likely to be rescheduled.
