Janet Jackson cancels tour
Singer blames global financial crisis for spiked dates
Janet Jackson has cancelled her upcoming tour of Japan.
The star was due to kick off her 'Rock Witchu' tour on February 14, but promoter Kyodo Yokohama said that all seven dates have now been cancelled "due to the impact of economic crisis".
The tour will be rescheduled for later this year, with new dates expected to be announced in March, reports The Canadian Press.
Jackson's current world tour is her first for seven years. In September, the singer had to cancel several shows in North America after she became ill.
