Two new tunes from the ex-Pulp man at Mx Beat Soundfest

Jarvis Cocker played two new songs on Saturday (March 8) at the MX Beat Soundfest festival in Mexico City.

Sporting a light brown jacket, red sweater and black tie, Cocker played an energetic set, climbing the stage rigging during near set-closer 'Cunts Are Still Running The World'.

NME.COM user ‘Ferni’ described one of Cocker’s untitled new songs as “Incredible – an electro-pop song with some great beats made for hitting the dancefloor.”

Another NME.COM user, ‘Jaime’, described new song ‘Girls Like It Too’ as “amazing – similar to the stuff in his first solo album”.

Jarvis Cocker played:

'Fat Children'
'Don't Let Him Waste Your Time'
'One Man Show'
'Sooner Or Later'
'Girls Like It Too'
'Tonite'
'Big Julie'
'Big Stuff'
'Black Magic'
'Cunts Are Still Running The World'
'Hey Joe'

His gig in Monterrey was so great and intimate. His set was much bigger here because it was just him... not a music festival just him. Girls Like It too will be a hit, I just know it. Check out the videos of him in Monterrey in youtube. Saludos ;0)
