Hmm...and if they give anyone a contract how will they handle the bands? A few years back, both Hal and Aberfeldy got contracts with Rough Trade only to be treated pretty bloody shabbily. Aberfeldy have now released a new single 'Claire' on a tiny label called 17 Seconds. It's brilliant. Travis should be kicking himself. Still at least he finally got Scritti Politti back on the label after twenty five years...

Rough Trade didn't do The Strokes or The Libs any harm. Wonder if this is a ploy to get people to the gigs?? Why not just release a statement with an adress for bands to send demo's to??
