Jarvis Cocker has announced plans to release a strictly limited seven-inch single next month.
The former Pulp singer has lined up a 1,000 copies of the double A-sided record, which features the the title track from his 2009 LP 'Further Complications' and album track 'Girls Like It Too'.
To mark the release, which is due out on November 9, Cocker will be staging a residency at London's Village Underground in Shoreditch, similar to his Galerie Chappe Paris show earlier this year where the singer soundtracked yoga and pilates classes.
The singer has also contributed a new song to 'The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou' director Wes Anderson's new movie 'The Fantastic Mr Fox' and is set to appear in the film as a puppet.
Meanwhile, Cocker is currently making podcasts of himself reading short stories from his official website www.jarviscocker.net.
