Autopsy reports have revealed that Jay Reatard died from a mixture of cocaine and alcohol.

In the reports released today (February 3), Shelby County Medical Examiner Dr Karen E Chancellor said the 29-year-old muscian died from "cocaine toxicity, and that alcohol was a contributing factor in his death", reports CommercialAppeal.com.

Reatard – real name Jimmy Lee Lindsey Jrdied last month after he was found dead at his Midtown home by his flatmate.

With his various bands and solo Reatard recorded 22 full-length albums and clocked up over 100 individual releases, his last album 'Watch Me Fall' was released in August last year, receiving an eight out of 10 review from NME.
