Los Angeles drug stores name new strain of cannabis after Jay-Z and Beyonce's baby daughter
Drug shops in California have named a new strain of marijuana after Beyonce and Jay-Z's baby daughter Blue Ivy Carter.

Multiple medical marijuana dispensaries in Hollywood are cashing in on the newborn's name by selling cannabis dubbed 'OG Blue Ivy', reports gossip website TMZ.

The couple have not officially approved of the name being used, but are yet to serve any legal notice asking drug stores to change it.

The move comes after Jay-Z vowed to drop the word "bitch" from his lyrics after the birth of his daughter in a poem. He wrote:

Before I got in the game, made a change, and got rich/I didn’t think hard about using the word bitch/I rapped, I flipped it, I sold it, I lived it/Now with my daughter in this world I curse those that give it

Blue Ivy Carter became the youngest person ever to be credited on the US Billboard chart last week.

Jay-Z released a new track titled 'Glory', which features her coos and cries, for which she is officially credited. The song entered the Billboard Chart at Number 74, the highest new entry on the chart last week.
