JAY-Z'S FESTIVAL BLUEPRINT!

JAY-Z, Libertines, JUNIOR SENIOR, THE USED and FINCH are the latest additions to the CARLING WEEKEND: READING AND LEEDS festivals, NME.COM can exclusively reveal.

Jay-Z, who is set to tour with 50 Cent in the US before coming to the UK, will play before Placebo on the Main Stage on the Friday on the southern leg (August 22) and Saturday in Leeds (23). Finch will also play the same stage on the same day.

Junior Senior are the latest addition for the Main Stage on the night Blur headline, playing before Lostprophets on a bill that also includesSystem Of A Down, [/a] and [a] (Reading 23, Leeds 24).

[/a], who have spent much of this year working on a new album, will play their only UK shows this summer at Reading on the Sunday (24), which opens the event in Leeds (22). The other addition to the Main Stage that day is The Used.Metallica, [a]
and Courtney Love have all already announced their appearances.

This year's event is confirmed to take place between Friday, August 22 and Sunday, August 24 at Temple Newsam in Leeds and Richfield Avenue in Reading, subject to licence. Tickets are on sale now, priced £95 for a weekend pass.
