Jay-Z is planning to play five UK and Irish dates in September.
The shows will be his first dates in two years and it will be first time the Def Jam CEO will play dates in Glasgow, Birmingham and Dublin.
Jay-Z will play:
Manchester MEN (September 21)
Glasgow SECC (22)
Birmingham NIA (23)
London Wembley Arena (24)
Dublin The Point (26)
Tickets go on sale at 9am on June 23. For ticket availability go to NME.COM/Gigs.
As previously reported, although the rapper "retired" in November 2003 he recently announced his return to performing with a one-off New York show on June 25.
According to Rolling Stone he has also been in the studio with Kanye West and Dr.Dre.
"I'm working with Jay-Z on his new album. (It's) the first time we ever really worked together. We got some fire," producer [B]Scott Storchsaid.
