Jay-Z to play landmark London show

The rapper adds special London date

Jay-Z will make musical history by playing the first ever hip-hop show at London's Royal Albert Hall.

The gig, which takes place on September 27, has been added to his short UK tour.

As previously reported by NME.COM, the rapper has been in the studio with Kanye West and Dr. Dre.

"I'm working with Jay-Z on his new album. (It's) the first time we ever really worked together. We got some fire," producer [B]Scott Storchsaid.

Jay-Z will play:

Manchester MEN (September 21)
Glasgow SECC (22)
Birmingham NIA (23)
London Wembley Arena (24)
Dublin The Point (26)
London Royal Albert Hall (27)
