Jay-Z is reportedly trying to have New Jersey’s Continental Airlines Arena renamed in honour of his clothing label Rocawear.

The rapper may fork out $600,000 to have the venue renamed, according to Dotmusic.

He reportedly has been in talks with the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority in an effort to seal the deal, which would see him outbid current sponsors Continental Airlines.

Meanwhile, Jay-Z is gearing up for the release of his new album ‘American Gangster’ which is scheduled for release in November.

The album will also serve as the soundtrack to the movie of the same name, starring Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe.
