Jay-Z announces US tour

He'll play a handful of dates to support 'Gangster'

Jay-Z has announced a handful of dates in the US next month in support of his forthcoming album 'American Gangster'.

According to Billboard, the music mogul will only perform material from the new album, which was inspired by the upcoming film of the same name.

Jay-Z is set to kick off the tour on November 6 at the Los Angeles House Of Blues.

He'll then hit Chicago, Baltimore and New York before wrapping things up in Philadelphia on November 12.

The tour dates are:

Los Angeles House Of Blues (November 6)
Chicago House Of Blues (7)
Baltimore Ram's Head (9)
New York Hammerstein Ballroom (11)
Philadelphia Fillmore (12)
