Rapper hits the top with 'American Gangster'

Jay-Z has scored his tenth Number One album in the US with 'American Gangster'

The rapper ties with Elvis Presley in second place for the most Number One albums on the chart; only The Beatles have had more, with 19, reports Billboard.

Since 1998, all eight of Jay-Z's solo studio albums have hit Number One.

This is in addition to his number ones with 'Collision Course', his album with Linkin Park, and his 'Unfinished Business' collaboration with R Kelly.
