Jay-Z has announced that he will play a concert on the eve of Barack Obama's presidential inauguration in Washington DC.
The controversial Glastonbury 2008 headliner will perform on January 19 at the intimate Warner Theatre, which seats less than 2,000, reports the Associated Press.
Jay-Z is known for his support of Obama, speaking out on his behalf as he did at the grand reopening of the Hollywood Palladium just before the 2008 US presidential election, as previously reported.
