Jay-Z tops 'Power 30' list
P Diddy, 50 Cent also named most influential hip-hoppers
Jay-Z has topped the 'Power 30' list put out by influential hip-hop magazine The Source.
Although he hasn't released a new studio album since 2007, the rap star topped the list due to his business ventures with Live Nation and Rocawear, and his part-ownership of the New Jersey Nets basketball team, reports the Associated Press.
Also featured on the list were P. Diddy, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Will.I.Am and Lil Wayne.
President Barack Obama got an honourable mention for his influence on the new hip-hop generation.
