New Jay-Z song goes online

'Death Of Auto-Tune' attacks studio-enhanced pop stars

A new song from Jay-Z's forthcoming album, 'The Blueprint 3', has appeared online.

Named 'D.O.A. (Death Of Auto-Tune)', the track sees the rapper have a dig at singers who use studio trickery to perfect their vocals. You can listen to it by clicking on the video below.

The track samples 'In The Space' by Janko Nilovic and Dave Sucky.

Lyrically, 'D.O.A. (Death Of Auto-Tune)' sees Jay-Z call himself the "Only rapper to rewrite history without a pen", before chastising modern technology, including iTunes and mobile phones.

"This is anti-Auto-Tune/Death of the ringtone/This ain't for iTunes/This ain't for singalongs," he raps.

'The Blueprint 3', produced by Kanye West, is set for release on September 11 in the US.
