A Detroit man has been charged with making death threats against Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce, as well as a former football player for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Leon Desmond Barrett denied allegations that he sent dozens of letters over the past three years threatening to kill the three stars, and said that the letters were sent as a result of a dispute with sports star Jerome Bettis, reports allhiphop.com.
Jay-Z is among the artists who will perform on new TV show The Jay Leno Show when it premieres on September 14.
The show will feature musical collaborations and generally just one celebrity interview. Most late night talk show formats feature two interviews.
