Jay-Z is to host a £500,000 BRIT Awards after-party in London on Wednesday (February 20).

According to The Sun, the '99 Problems' rapper is splashing out half a million pounds on a party for all his Roc Nation employees. Justin Timberlake, who is performing at the BRIT Awards, Rita Ora, Beyonce and new label signing Kylie Minogue are likely to attend.

Thousands of pounds worth of seafood and Ace of Spades champagne has reportedly been shipped in for the mega-bash. Jay-Z has also allegedly roped in the services of Calvin Harris to DJ at the event, which is being held at London's Hakkasan restaurant.

Last week, the video to Justin Timberlake's collaboration with Jay-Z, 'Suit & Tie', was unveiled. The video is the work of The Social Network director David Fincher. Fincher directed Timberlake in the 2010 movie, in which Timberlake portrayed Napster founder Sean Parker.

The former N Sync singer will join Mumford and Sons, Muse, One Direction and Robbie Williams on the line-up of performers at this year's BRITs which will once again be presented by James Corden. Beyoncé is strongly rumoured to be performing too, but the BRITs team deny this is happening.

The nominations for this year's awards were announced last month with Alt-J, Mumford & Sons and Muse and all picking up multiple nods.
