Jay-Z handed a 16-year-old the chance to produce a track on his new album 'Magna Carta Holy Grail'.

The rapper's heavily-hyped new LP is set for official release next week (Monday 8) and, according to the Sun, Canadian teenager Ebony Oshunrinde, who is known as WondaGurl, is credited on the LP for her work on the track 'Crown'.

Oshunrinde, who has only just finished her 11th Grade studies at school, came to the hip-hop star's attention after she met an acquaintance of his, Travis Scott, and gave him a tape of a reggae-influenced beat she had made. "It's a really good feeling," she said. "I want to show young people that they can do it.

"Travis texted me and said, 'I'm about to change your life,'" she added. "Usually, that doesn't happen to 16-year-olds. A lot more people want to work with me now. It's pretty cool."

Oshunrinde joins a list of other contributing artists on the LP which includes Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Rick Ross and Frank Ocean. 'Magna Carta Holy Grail' is currently streaming unofficially online and is also available to Samsung mobile phone users as part of a deal with Jay-Z, although there have been complaints the app needed to hear the album hasn't been working.
