As Billboard reports, the film - which is set to be debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival, which runs from September 8 -18 - has also been picked up by US cable network Showtime and will be broadcast on October 11. Showtime entertainment president David Nevins said: "Ron Howard and Jay Z have crafted an inspirational portrayal of American resilience, drive and creativity, interwoven with an incredible showcase of musical talent. We are proud to bring Made In America to Showtime where it joins our impressive roster of provocative and compelling documentaries helmed by award-winning filmmakers."

Speaking previously about the film, Made In America producer Brian Glazer said: "The festival showcases 20 pre-eminent artists that speak to the new generation. I am producing the film with Steve Stoute and Jay. Ron is directing. It is going to be born through Jay Z's perspective...how he puts the event together."

Beyonce and Nine Inch Nails are set to headline this year's Budweiser Made In America festival, which takes place in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park on August 31 and September 1.

Other bands set to perform this year include Queens Of The Stone Age, Deadmau5, Phoenix, Calvin Harris, Empire Of The Sun, Wiz Khalifa, Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Public Enemy, Nero, 2 Chainz, The Gaslight Anthem, A$AP Rocky, Walk The Moon, Solange, Emeli Sandé, Haim, Rudimental and AlunaGeorge.
