Jay Z 'owns £300k watch and million dollar Mercedes' – watch

Rapper's extravagant lifestyle is revealed in new episode of VH1's 'The Fabulous Life'

Jay Z reportedly owns a Mercedes worth $1m (£600,000) and a watch that cost $500k (£300,000).

The details of the rapper's extravagant expenditure were revealed in the latest episode of VH1's The Fabulous Life Of, which aired in America last night (March 27). In the programme, it was revealed that the rapper's car even has its own toilet. Scroll down to watch the episode in full now.

Earlier this weekend Rick Rubin revealed how the comedian Chris Rock first came up with the idea for Jay Z's song '99 Problems.' The 2003 track was produced by Rubin and he has stated that the original idea behind the track came from Rock, who wanted to subvert Ice-T's 1993 song of the same name.

Telling the story, Rubin says: "[Chris] said, 'Ice-T has this song, and maybe there’s a way to flip it around and do a new version of that.' And I told Jay Z the idea and he liked it. The Ice-T song is about 'got 99 problems and a bitch ain't one,' and then it’s a list of him talking about his girls and what a great pimp he is."
