EXTRA 'GRACE'!
A re-issue of 'Grace' will feature an extra CD full of non-album rarities and collectors' items...
Jeff Buckley’s debut album ’GRACE’ is to be re-issued with extra songs.
Released on August 22, the album will be released as a three-disc package with two CDs and a DVD. Disc one features an original album newly remastered by George Marino, while CD2 will feature 13 non-album rarities and collectors items, either recorded in preparation for the ‘Grace’ sessions, or immediately after when Jeff Buckley and his band began touring to support the album’s release.
Included on this disk is the often bootlegged song ’Forget Her’, which was set for inclusion on the original record, but taken off at the last minute to be replaced by ’So Real’.
The DVD will feature four video clips, archival studio recording footage, interviews and live performances.
Jeff Buckley, son of folk singer Tim Buckley, died in May 1997 when he drowned in the Wolf River Marina, a tributary of the Mississippi River, during a recording stint in Memphis.
