Jenny Lewis joins Beck for grand opening of LA's Club Nokia
They'll launch the downtown venue on Sunday (Nov 9)
Jenny Lewis will join Beck for the grand opening of Club Nokia in downtown Los Angeles, it was announced today (November 5).
The Rilo Kiley frontwoman will join Beck at the club's launch on Sunday (November 9), while Jay Reatard will take over the opening slot the following evening.
"Beck and Jenny Lewis are both a part of the Los Angeles music scene and we've worked with them through the years so it seemed like the right choice for this first show," Goldenvoice concert promoter Paul Tollett said in a statement.
The new 2,300-seat venue is part of the LA Live complex, which includes the massive Staples Center (home of the Grammy Awards) and the Nokia Theatre, which seats 7,100.
