Jessie J was taken to hospital this weekend after falling off a stage while rehearsing.

The 'Do It Like A Dude' star was rehearsing for the Capital FM Summertime Ball which took place at Wembley Stadium last night (June 12). But calamity struck when she tumbled off a stage and injured herself.

The star tweeted via Twitter.com/JessieJOfficial: "I have been taken to hospital after falling off a platform. I have ripped a ligament in my foot and have been put on crutches and told to rest. I’m in a lot of pain. Don't get it twisted! I’m gonna be singing tomorrow at STB even if I have to crawl, be carried or wheeled onto stage! My foot is three times its normal size but my heartbeats RULE AND I will NOT LET YOU DOWN!"

The singer was released from hospital after treatment in time to perform at the show last night.
